We love sharing our farm life with our children and all our KuneKunes.
The whole family is involved in not only the chores but the care of our farm animals. Farm life also teaches children the value of challenging work. There are always chores to be done on a farm, whether it's feeding the animals, mending fences, or tending to the crops. Children can learn the importance of responsibility and the satisfaction that comes from completing a task.
In addition to the practical skills they learn, farm life can also provide children with a sense of connection to the land. They can learn about where their food comes from and the importance of sustainable farming practices. They can also develop a love and appreciation for nature and the outdoors.
Living on a farm can also provide children with a sense of community. Farms often have a close-knit community of neighbors who help each other out and share resources. This can teach children the importance of working together and supporting one another.
Our children are involved in every aspect of our homestead, including gathering the eggs, feeding the animals, and spending time enjoying it.
We sell farm fresh eggs, processed meat birds, Cornish hens, and baby Chicks that will be egg layers.
Do what you love.
Do what you love, and you will never work a day in your life. Take time to enjoy what you do. KuneKunes are such personable, friendly pigs that it is hard not to take the time out of your day to give them the attention that they so enjoy.
