Our KuneKunes

We have carefully selected our KuneKunes. Come in and meet them.

KuneKune pigs are a popular choice for families and individuals who seek a unique, affectionate pet or breeding stock for your farm. They are known for their docile and friendly nature, and they enjoy human company. These sociable animals are comical and intelligent, which makes them easy to train. They can even learn tricks and follow commands if trained properly. However, it's important to note that KuneKune pigs require proper care and attention like any other animal. They are grazing pigs and enjoy exploring their pastures and environment. They need a spacious outdoor environment to roam along with a balanced diet of fresh vegetables, fruits, and specially formulated pig feed.

Starting with the right KuneKune herd is important to your farm and breeding program.

Health Information for our KuneKunes

We believe in maintaining the good health of our herd of pigs. To achieve this, we deworm them every 9 months and vaccinate them with Rhini Shield TX4. We take care of their hooves by giving them regular spa treatments of hoof soaks and trimming their hooves when necessary.

When it comes to feeding, we provide our pigs with Purina Hog and Sow Complete feed. Each adult pig is given 2 cups of feed, while 7-8-month-olds are given 1 cup of feed twice a day. We always mix alfalfa in their feeders and provide them with fruits and vegetables during afternoon feedings.
